The Xiaomi scooter’s extra battery is designed to increase the range of the electric scooter.

• The battery is made from high quality original LG cells.
• The driving range is nearly twice as long.
• The optional battery has short-circuit protection.
• The battery has a balancing/equal voltage distribution function across the battery.
• The kit includes all necessary screws, a base extension, and instructions.
• The extra battery will not need to be charged separately and will be charged via the main Xiaomi charging socket.

Attention!

• Before installing an additional battery, both batteries must be at the same voltages or both batteries must be fully charged.
• The scooter may need to be switched off in charging mode after installation.
• If you don’t know what you’re doing, we recommend that you contact us to have an extra battery fitted.

We offer several options for additional batteries

M365 / 1S / MI3:
7Ah spare battery that increases the range by 90%. The range has increased from 18 km to 33 km.
5Ah extra battery that increases the range by 65%. The range has increased from 18 km to 27 km.

ESSENTIAL:

A 7Ah auxiliary battery increases the range by 130%. The range has increased from 12 km to 27 km.
A 5Ah auxiliary battery increases the range by 95%. The range has increased from 12 km to 21 km.

PRO / PRO2:

A 10Ah auxiliary battery increases the range by 80%. The range has increased from 29 km to 51 km.

Before installing the additional battery, you must remove the bottom cover.

Make sure that the voltage (V) of both batteries is the same (using a multimeter or voltmeter). If you do not have these devices, fully charge the original and spare batteries (both batteries must be charged separately, not connected together) until the green light on the charger turns on.

Once you have verified that the battery voltages are the same, connect the additional battery using the included triple cable (see photos). First, connect the two batteries, then connect the third end of the cable to the control board.

The extra battery is mounted on the bottom of the Xiaomi scooter, making use of the space there. Since the battery doesn’t fit completely into the bottom, we include a special spacer in the kit that allows you to fully accommodate the extra battery. After placing the spacer on the scooter’s body, the original bottom cover is placed on top of it; the cover and spacer are secured to the body with M3x35 screws (included in the kit).
