Xiaomi and Ninebot scooter error codes

This page describes the error codes and their meanings for Xiaomi and Ninebot scooters. Please note that the dashboards of these M365 and ESSENTIAL scooter models do not display errors, but errors can be detected by the scooter’s beep. The long scooter signals detect the first digit of the error code, the short ones the second digit. On other Xiaomi scooter models, error codes are displayed in the dashboard.

Steps: Check the cable connection. The most common reason for error code 10 is that the communication cable between the motherboard and the display is loose.

Action: check phase A (blue) of the motherboard. Error code 11 is usually due to moisture ingress, which causes corrosion.

Action: Check phase B of the motherboard (brown/black). Error code 12 is usually caused by moisture, which causes corrosion.

Action: check phase C of the motherboard (yellow). Error code 13 is usually caused by moisture ingress and corrosion.
